The short version: We are a privacy company. We collect only what we need to do our job. We share your information only with the third parties we are submitting removal requests to, and only to the extent required by their opt-out process. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with anyone other than who is strictly necessary to perform the service you are paying us for.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information for: advertising, marketing to third parties, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose unrelated to providing privacy services.

4. How We Share Your Information

The paradox: To remove your information from public databases, we have to share your information with those databases. This is the nature of privacy opt-out processes. Every data broker requires your name and address to locate and remove your record. We share only the minimum information required by each platform's opt-out process.

We share your information with:

4.1 Third-party platforms (as your authorized representative)

Mapping services, data brokers, real estate aggregators, government agencies, and marketing list operators. Shared only to the extent required to submit a privacy request on your behalf. This is the core function of the service.

4.2 Service providers

  • Stripe: payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.
  • Google: Maps and Places API for address verification and Street View imagery display. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
  • Hosting: Vercel for website hosting. Infrastructure-level access only.

4.3 Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government investigation. We will notify you of such disclosures unless prohibited by the order itself.

We do NOT share your information with:

  • Advertisers or ad networks
  • Data brokers (except for the purpose of submitting your opt-out request)
  • Any third party for marketing purposes
  • Any buyer in the event of a sale of the company, without your affirmative consent

5. Data Retention

While you are a subscriber: We retain all information necessary to provide the service, including request logs, scan history, and monitoring data.

After cancellation: We retain your account data for 90 days after cancellation to allow for reactivation. After 90 days, we delete your personal information, including your name, address, phone number, and scan results. We retain anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., request success rates by platform) indefinitely for service improvement.

Request logs: Records of requests submitted on your behalf are retained for 3 years after cancellation to document actions taken and support any disputes with third parties.

Deletion requests: You may request immediate deletion of all your data at any time by emailing privacy@setaperimeter.com. We will process deletion within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular security reviews of third-party integrations
  • No storage of full payment card numbers (handled entirely by Stripe)

No system is perfectly secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery, consistent with applicable state breach notification laws.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of your state of residence, we provide all Perimeter users with the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion: request deletion of your personal data
